This is Michael Quigg, Principal at Aberdeen High School, reaching out with an important message.
This morning, a man entered our building and was utilizing the gymnasium. While exiting the building, several students witnessed the man begin a physical altercation with staff members. We understand students have shared their observations with other students and may have shared what they saw with parents and guardians, too. We are reaching out now to assure you the Aberdeen Police Department responded swiftly and took the man into custody.
We want to thank our students and staff for their behavior and responsiveness during the incident, as well as the Aberdeen Police Department for their prompt response.
