This is Principal Quigg reaching out with an important message.
We are aware that threats have been made against our school. We are working diligently in conjunction with central office, the Office of Safety and Security, as well as the Aberdeen Police Department to investigate the threats that have been made. The safety of our students and staff is our number one priority, and we will have additional support staff, including additional law enforcement, on campus to address any disruptions that may occur. To assist in supporting our efforts, I am asking everyone to refrain from reposting information and screenshots on social media that are not their own personal information. The rumors that continue to spread add challenges and duplicate information for the Aberdeen Police Department and the HCPS Safety and Security Office to investigate.
Once again, please know that we take all reports and threats seriously and will continue to work cooperatively with our public safety officials and other agencies to ensure the safety of our students and staff.
