Head Varsity Coach: Matt Ryan
Coach Ryan was a 2 year starter, 2 year Nassau County Champion, and Honorable Mention All-County at one of the elite high school programs in the country at Massapequa High School. After Massapequa, Coach Ryan continued his illustrious career at some esteemed programs of Nassau Community College and NYIT. During his collegiate career, Matt was an integral part of the 2008 NJCAA National Championship Nassau team culminating in Coach Ryan winning All Region honors. He would continue on to play at NYIT where he was a 2 year starter on the nationally ranked squad. ⠀

Following his stellar playing career, Coach Ryan has served as an assistant at Fallston High School for 1 season and at AHS for the past 5 seasons. Under Coach Ryan’s direction as the Defensive Coordinator, the Eagles held a stout defense allowing a mere 6 goals against on average. This tremendous leadership and drive led the Eagles to their winningest seasons in school history between 2018 and 2019, culminating in the schools first ever Susquehanna Division Championship.
Head JV Coach: Kyle Lacey
Coach Lacey was a 4 year starter on defense for Aberdeen High School and was an all county player. After Aberdeen, Coach Lacey continued his playing career at CCBC Essex. During his collegiate career from 2008-2009, Coach Lacey was a part of the 2008 and 2009 Region 20 Championship teams and part of 1 NJCAA finalist team in 2008. Both years, Essex was ranked #1 in Maryland JUCO and ranked #2 in the nation in 2008. ⠀

Following his playing career, Coach Lacey has been on the Aberdeen coaching staff from 2010-Present. Coach Lacey has been a Varsity Assistant and JV Head Coach. Under Coach Lacey’s direction as the Head JV Coach, the Eagles JV Team has grown leaps and bounds and have been a huge success. That success helped the Eagles to their winningest seasons in school history between 2018 and 2019, culminating in the schools first ever Susquehanna Division Championship. ⠀

Coach Lacey is also a Varsity Assistant Coach for the Aberdeen High School Wrestling Program.
